Nico Rosberg led home his Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton in a thrilling race around the Red Bull Ring in Austria. Mercedes finished the race with their 6th 1-2 result of the season further extending their advantage in the constructors championship to over 150 points!
Valtteri Bottas led his team mate Felipe Massa to finish 3-4 in what was a great result for the Williams team who locked out the front row of the grid on saturday.
Ferrari's Fernando Alonso stopped the Mercedes power domination of the timesheets with a great 5th place whilst his Finnish team mate finished all the way down in 10th place, once again convincingly out paced all weekend by the Spaniard.

Perez again was the faster Force India driver finishing 6th ahead of the Mclaren of Dane Kevin Magnussen who had his first weekend when everything went completely to plan according to Eric Boullier - Director of Mclaren Racing. With Button finishing in a lowly 11th place its clear that all of McLaren's upgrades didn't provide the steps forward the team were hoping for.
After his win in the previous race, Ricciardo finished a lowly 8th (after a great last lap pass on Nico Hulkenberg) Being the only Red Bull car to finish the race at Red Bull's home circuit it was a pretty poor day for the drinks company on the track.
Hulkenberg lost 8th on the very last lap and finished 9th ahead of final points scorer Raikkonen.
The race was a busy one with some great battles on track. The two Williams drivers got good starts with Nico Rosberg in the mercedes briefly getting ahead of Bottas into T1 before the williams driver re-took the place in T2.But it was Lewis Hamilton who started in 9th who had 'The best start I've ever had in Formula One' as he was fourth behind his team mate by the end of Lap One. The top four ran in that formation until the first stops when Mercedes managed to get Rosberg ahead of Both Williams cars and Lewis Hamilton ahead of Bottas. Only at the final stops did Hamilton clear Bottas and have a chance at taking the fight to his team mate. However Rosberg clearly had pace to match Hamilton and they finished 1st and 2nd further increasing Rosberg's championship advantage to 29 points heading to Silverstone in two weeks time!
